In the wee hours of Monday morning, Khan left a message on his Twitter page. “Looks like I might have to get off Twitter. Don’t want to but what to do? I think I messed up. So sorry guys, Sorrbolne mein koi sharam nahi (There’s no shame in saying sorry),” he saidThis decision follows the severe backlash he faced over his interview to a Pakistani TV channel, in which he claimed that the 2008 Mumbai attacks attracted publicity only because the elite were targeted.
