Natalie Hershlag, but known by her stage name Natalie Portman is nominated for Academy Award and won a Golden Globe Award for the film Closer. In her school holidays she attends theater camps so that she was very much fond of acting and wanted to develop her career in acting.
Natalie worked with off-Bombay musical and got some experience. At the age of twelve she was starred in Leon as well as she also got small roles in the films such as Everyone Says I Love You, Heat and Mars Attacks. Natalie Portman also played a major role in the film Beautiful Girls.
In the late of 1990's Natalie Portman is vary famous for her role of Padme Amidala in the George Lucas's star Wars prequel trilogy. At Harvard University she pursued tertiary studies giving a highest priority on her education than her acting career. Some of her recent films include Closer, Garden State, and V for Vendetta.
On March 4, 2006 Natalie Portman made her Saturday Night Live debut. She hosted this show with band Fall Out Boy. In that episode she acted as a gangsta rapper during a faux-interview with Chris Parnell. Also in this episode she used her actual surname Hershlag and played a role of fertility specialist.
