Scarlett Johansson’s been the face of Mango for almost two years, this season she’s joined by The City‘s Olivia Palermo and her boyfriend Johannes Huebl, but she’s just now moving into Kate Moss territory.
The freshly-cropped actress revealed she’s working on a line of handbags for the Spanish brand. She was in Barcelona, at a dinner honoring Jean-Paul Gaultier this weekend, and was more willing to talk about the future of accessories than her future (potential) kids.
dinner, held in the National Museum of Catalan Art, the Belgian designer Lena Lumelsky was awarded over $400,000 as Mango’s third International Newcomer winner and will design a capsule collection, like Moises De La Renta before her.
As for Scarlett’s bags, we pegged her for the high-end collaboration type, someone like Stella McCartney, but we imagine Mango’s so thrilled to have her on board that they’ll let her have a fair amount of creative control.
